Intelligent Mist

Intelligent Mist are the leading Automist installer for the South-East of England. They fit open-plan homes and loft conversions with a ‘smart’ fire sprinkler alternative that can automatically detect fire and extinguish it automatically, giving residents time to raise the alarm and ensure the house and belongings are protected.

The company already had a stylish and well-functioning website, designed by the same team who work on all of our websites. However, they had identified that there was still work to be done with the content to improve how well the site was performing on Google. They wanted to see their website ranking for some of their main industry keywords.

We conducted some thorough keyword research to identify exactly what we should be looking to use in the copy and how high the competition was.

As such, we started working with them on our Search Engine Optimisation package. This initially involved us having a conversation with Alan at Intelligent Mist to find out what their main goals were and how they hoped to see their site ranking. From here, we then conducted some thorough keyword research to identify exactly what we should be looking to use in the copy and how high the competition was.

The results were very interesting and led us in some places to shift the focus of the site to tap into the potential audience. We edited the copy throughout the entire website to ensure it was SEO-optimised, and also performed a number of different technical actions in the back-end of the site to ensure all areas were leading search engines to consider Intelligent Mist a top choice.

Because their site code was developed to a high standard, the site has been performing very well on Google. We have also added a blog section with six blogs so far, which not only help to add content to the site, but they also show Intelligent Mist as leading experts in their area. Google likes to see sites with fresh content, but it also likes to see pages on the website that show authority, credibility and trust.

They only want their audience to be finding the best web pages for their searches, so carefully crafting each blog is essential to ensure both short-form and long-form questions are being answered. We also worked with Alan on the visuals to ensure the page looked aesthetically pleasing, as well as technically being effective too.

We have set up a series of pay-per-click Google ads for Intelligent Mist too, using SEO-optimised copy, and will be measuring the success of these, as well as how well the website is doing, through a number of different tracking programmes. Utilising this data, we’ll then be able to make further tweaks and changes, as well as gear new blog posts up to the results we’re finding work best.
