Calgary Avansino

Calgary Avansino worked at British Vogue as their Executive Fashion and Digital Project Director before turning her focus to her passion for wellness and becoming a Contributing Editor. She went on to launch a range of juices with Itsu, write her book “Keep It Real”, and speak at a whole range of events throughout the city before making the move from London back to her homeland of California, USA in 2017.

While working with Calgary, we have assisted in the development, production and marketing of her book “Keep It Real”. We have also worked on conceptualising, designing, building and launching two websites for her over three years. As well as managing and editing Calgary’s website, we also helped to support her with scheduling posts on social media when required and designing images and infographics for her to post. This also included research into new trends and techniques for boosting her social media following; her Instagram alone grew from 13k to 47k during our time working with her.

We have worked on multiple regional, national and international publicity campaigns in which Calgary has been featured in mainstream print publications such as The Telegraph, Daily Mail, Stylist, Tatler, Vogue, The Independent, The Sunday Times, and The Grace Tales – as well as on TV shows, on the radio and across the Internet. We have also worked on marketing campaigns with the likes of Crowne Plaza hotels, Highland Spring, Waitrose, Naturya and adidas by Stella McCartney.

In addition to this, we have supported Calgary with many high-profile events, including her TED talk, a cookery demonstration at Facebook HQ with Madeleine Shaw, Ollie Locke and Grazia, an interview with Mary Katrantzou and Diane von Furstenberg, the Vogue Festival and a speech with Goldman Sachs.


We have produced dozens of newsletters for Calgary, tracking the user engagement, along with working on various seasonal marketing campaigns to help build her public profile. We have worked closely on photo shoots with photographers such as Charlotte Kibbles and Kristin Perers, producing the images and videos for her website and social media. We have also helped to design marketing assets and edit videos for Calgary’s website and YouTube channel.

We’re excited to see how Calgary will be growing her brand while in America, reaching new audiences and opportunities. She continues to plough her efforts into speaking at numerous events, engaging with her audience on her social media, and sharing new recipes and articles on her website – as well as pursuing many new exciting ventures.
